This is a rerecorded version of an old song - in fact the guitar-and-vocal version is on Plucked. I also uploaded it during 2009 (which is when I recorded it), but have completely remixed it.
So Déjà Vu again, again, again.
It's my 70s West Coast AOR version of the song. That said, the only West Coast I had any familiarity with in the 70s was Pembrokeshire.
When you turn around and see me here
Standing where I used to and I
Disappear from view
Will you shrug your shoulders,
Ignoring all the games that light can
Play with you
That echo through the day
Can light be made anew?
Or is it déja vu?
When you think you've seen the film before
When you know the forms the pictures turn into
When you're really sure
You've seen that perfect blue
And everything is true
Your life is déjà vu.
